Summer - a time to say goodbye

Had the pleasure of waving good buy to a lot of illustrations the other week. A great vernissage and a few weeks later only a handful of the illustrations I sent away made their way home. Than you all for a great time! If you never got the chance to visit there's a new chance in a couple of weeks.

Good old stuff

An old illustration I did after seeing Michael Sudok De Wit's fantastic animation "Father and Daughter". I'm stunned by it every time. So... why are you still here? Go see it here and get inspired!

A bad dressed and loud mob

Boys, boys, keep it down. There's so many reasons to be merry. The old Batman series is back on TV for example. That's great! Pow, the red bat-phone and the boy wonder, you know!

Portraits

Doing some experimentation with a sort of vintage photo style. Working with water based oils on wet paper to give an overall blurry feel. I sort of like it where it's heading. 

Dudes.

Taking a day to sketch some ideas for this summers exhibitions. Some times when I try to get some good work done all I get is weird dudes. I think I need to get them out of my system before some serious work can be done. I cant help but wonder though.,who are all these people?

I've been having a "stined glass look-alike" series of illustrations going for the Swedish church. Here are a few examples.

Made these illustrations for a fanzine project back home. Might also be used at a exhibition this summer.

A very short animation

I made a tiny animation to the E4 stinger competition. I posted a sneek preview screen a few posts back and this is how it turned out. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed. My English fingers that is. If I would cross my swedish fingers I would be lying. Back home I'll hold my thumbs.

WWII characters

I'm in the process of adding some random stuff to my character design portfolio. I'm deep into "The Pacific" at the moment so first out where some WWII characters. I used a random word generator to give the guys some background. If you find yourself with some odd words that you think deserve to be visualized. Be sure to let me know.
