Warmin up

Got involved in a project that will take me to a small town in Poland. My task is to illustrate how the town looked during the second world war. I guess there will be a lot of on the spot illustrating but since I'm spoiled with a Cintiq I rarely work on real paper. So this is me getting back to basics and warming up until the project starts in early spring. Super fun!

In labor

Started up a fun little project the other day. It's going to be a short animation. This is some of the very first character sketches. Probably not the final look, but I'll try to keep posting during the progress. Without ruining the end of course.

Used to do a lot of these lose tusch (indian inc) illustrations. Enjoy this skechy man and his trusty dog. Acually saw this man on my way to work the other week. He stood so still and bored in his yard, something made me want to paint him.

It's X3M

This is a short section dedicated to the company X3M I worked with some year ago. Be sure to check out their website. Also, don't miss out on the nice hand made Romanian beanies as my brother is the guy behind that project.

This digital painting was made for their second exhibition and is also shown on their website. Some artist were asked to do street-art inspired of the word extreme. At the time the hot-air system at my office were broken and the most extreme thing I could think of that day was how cold that winter was. So that is me being beaten up by "cold". As you probably figured out on the ice-cream, fish and fridge.

This is how the illustrations looked like that I worked on in regular. Instead of using photos they used illustrations to show the might of the floor ball players.
